I'd review it if I would've gotten delivered. I ordered all together. My B1x An air remote and the 2' octa. My light got lost in transit so I had to contact customer support they sent another one but I needed it within same week. Have in mind that all of these items I ordered them one week prior so that I'd have time to test the light along with diffuser and remote to make sure everything worked properly for my trip. I did receive the air remote which couldn't use without the light. I received my 2'octa with one of the metal tips from the rods missing. So I contacted customer support. I was instructed via email ... to send it back with a return form Where it asked if I wanted a return or wanted exchange. *** I WANTED AN EXCHANGE but few days later I received an email saying that the amount charged would be returned fully to my CC. So .... I never received the exchange item and have not seen the reimbursement reflected on my statement yet. I really needed the item since I was going out of town to Chicago for a wedding so I then purchased another one at B&H photo. They shipped it same day and I got it on time for my trip.

One of the issues I have had over the past few decades, is that most light shapers are designed for in-studio use, being heavy, complicated and not much fun to wrangle when on-location. The 2' OCF Octo is a delight! You don't even notice any additional weight and it is very easy to assemble. I enjoy attaching grids to my lighting to control spill, and the OCF Grid Kit is sublime. They securely lock in place and don't require using a 7" reflector, making it compact and less to carry around. If you are using either B1's or B2's, I highly recommend adding these to your kit!

Used the soft box on a senior portrait shoot in Memphis. Gorgeous images!!! The quality of light combined with the B1 ALMOST justifies the price of BOTH the soft box and the speed ring. I deducted a star due to the extra expense for the speed ring. That almost caused me to bypass the purchase. Glad I didnt now. Just ordered another set for my other B1

Fast and easy to set up and break down. Beautiful light. I got this to light weddings and portraits. Very portable, takes up no pace when collapsed.
