Machined well. As with any step down adapter, you may have some vignetting with some lenses and some circumstances with zoom lenses, but that is just the nature of reducing adapters. Though it is machined aluminum, there are times when filter wrenches might be needed.

I can only blame myself for not reading information carefully. I was thinking in terms of stepping down a 72mm filter to 62mn lens. But now I've learned, that is a step up. Ended up with a product that is of very little use. But at a cost of $ it's not worth the cost to return it. I'm sure it would be a fine product, if it was what I needed.
