Bought this kit on black Friday after drooling over it for years. Super impressed by how bright and versatile these tubes are. If you were doing interviews this could could be the only kit you take. I primarily use it for table top product photography, Instead of a giant strip box i'll just use the quasar for detail and rim lighting. Perfect solution for reflective products like jewelry and firearms. I can quickly (without taking up a ton of space) run a perfect strip of light across a product. The kit includes everything you might need to get these tubes rigged and running wither in a 4 bank set up or individually. The only weak spot for me is the baby pin that screws into the quasar plate that holds the tubes. It has two locating pins on either side of a centrally located bolt with a knob on it. so you screw the baby pin onto the plate with this knob. However there is some play and just isn' as secure as id hoped. I highly recommend especiallywhen on sale.
