Great product! Works wonderful. Love this. Hooks right up to my session gopro. Little tricky at first but it did pair with my session.

This was much easier to use than the phone due to the size. Also the waterproof feature is a plus. The screen is smaller than the phone but adequate considering. I like the full control over the hero 4 and the battery life is good.

Waterproof (IPX7)
The main difference between the R1+ and the R1 is its waterproof capability. R1+ can stay underwater up to 3.3' (1m) in depth, for 30 minutes.

Self-Timer
R1+ has a self-timer which allows you to delay the shutter release, giving you time between pushing the button and taking the video or photo.

Direct Wi-Fi
Now you won't need to have your smartphone app to setup Wi-Fi for your GoPro. R1+ can generate GoPro HERO4 and Session's Wi-Fi SSID and password all on its own.
