Software needs to be improved
the end result is better than expected. The set up was longer than I thought. The directions were fine. Getting it on the home wifi took longer than it should have. After downloading the app to my phone the process should have been easier. I have added other items to my home wifi that were easier to connect. I have no other issues at this time.

Great Gift Idea
I purchased two of these for family members planning to travel this year. This will allow them to see what's going on around their home while they're away. I also chose this product because it will be easy for them to add other ring monitoring options if they decide to do so. One of the family members installed it the next day and mentioned how easy it was to install and get it up and going. They were very pleased with their gift. Adorama had the best price and the shipping was very prompt. Very happy doing business with Adorama as well.

Works very well
This was actually a replacement for one that was vandalized. We felt naked for the week we didn’t have one. We have to learned to trust our ring products, and are going to be adding more cameras soon.

Very use full camera
It is a doorbell and it is a motion detected camera. It works well without much headache. The company worked out a lot of the kinks with the Pro version.

Easy to install. Very wide view.
After about a week of regular use I haven't had any problems. My motion sensor porch light is fairly sensitive and turns on when a car drives by, which then triggers the Ring motion detection. The angle of view is so wide that recognizing a face very far away would be difficult. The camera appears to be focused and best for distances of about 12 feet or less. It has been very good at meeting my needs.

What a great product.
Took a little effort to install, because the wifi setup of the device was a little difficult, however 1 call to their customer support and everything went well then. My suggestion is to leave your wifi in normal mode on your phone until after your get your address located on the device and then put your phone in airplane mode, this worked great for me when I was installing my second one.
