I was a bit nervous ordering a 12, which is much wider than I normally use, but I’m shooting in a tight space. I worried the look wouldn’t be as dynamic as other cinelenses, but it turned out great. The weight on it is nice and has offers a nice balance for such a small lens.

Not just a great cine lens, but should be THE staple cine lens for any amateur videographer. Adorama did a great job of meeting my needs with this lens—it came new and packaged with care. Adorama also keeps their prices nice while still remaining competitive. Personally, I use this lens with my BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera. It’s a perfect pair. Definitely going to make Adorama where I get my future lenses!

Just when you thought your photography and videography couldn't get any better, the Rokinon 12mm T2.2 Cine Lens for Micro Four Thirds Mount steps in to elevate your craft. This high-quality, durable lens is specifically optimized for digital cinematography, making it a reliable choice for both professionals and amateurs alike.
Designed to produce an image circle that perfectly covers APS-C sized sensors or smaller, this lens ensures you capture every detail in your frame. It features a wide-angle view, making it an excellent choice for shooting expansive landscapes, intricate architecture, or capturing the essence of tight interior locations.
The lens boasts a fast maximum aperture of T2.2, making it a versatile tool for low-light shooting. This feature allows you to create stunning, sharp images even in challenging lighting conditions.
For those who use a follow focus unit, this lens comes with focus and aperture rings that feature industry-standard 0.8 pitch gearing. The aperture ring is de-clicked, allowing for smooth iris pulls while shooting, enhancing the quality of your footage.
To aid focus pullers, the lens has focus, aperture, and depth of field markings on the side. This thoughtful design feature ensures that operators on the side of the camera can easily access the necessary information.
The Rokinon 12mm T2.2 Cine Lens also incorporates three extra-low dispersion elements and two aspherical elements into its optical design. This advanced technology minimizes chromatic aberrations and distortion, resulting in sharper, more vibrant images.
To further enhance image quality, a Nano Coating System (NCS) has been applied to the lens elements. This innovative system reduces surface reflections and prevents lens flare and ghosting, improving light transmission and creating more contrast-rich imagery.
The lens comes with a bayonet-mount lens hood and a lens pouch for added convenience and protection. With its affordable price and superior features, the Rokinon 12mm T2.2 Cine Lens for Micro Four Thirds Mount is a valuable addition to any photography or videography kit.
