Not full frame.

Image quality is OK, but you cannot use the full 14mm wide angle on a full frame without getting the shadow/image of the non-removable hood. It's listed as a full frame lens.

Rokinon 14mm Sharp and good contrast!

It worked with my Canon 5D MK IV, but not with my new Canon R6! Sharp lens, manual focus, but big depth of focus so no problem.

Left me wanting more...

I took this lens out on a couple of shoots and the shots look great until you zoom in and pixel peep. I found my particular lens to not be very sharp. To be honest I'm used to my Sony lenses which are nearly 5x more expensive which is kind of an unfair comparison. It's a decent little lens for the money but I definitely want more so I, unfortunately, had to return mine for store credit and will save up for the Sony equivalent. Your luck may vary as many people have had great luck with theirs, but mine left me wanting more. - Camera: Sony a7R IV

What a fun lens! A bit of distortion that can be corrected in photoshop.

Nice lense but not for me.

While the lens is a good lens it had to much distortion in the photos I had taken. More than what I wanted to deal with. It was sent back for a refund but some of the money was kept to pay for shipping.

Sony A7RIII lens review

The field of view, as stated for a full frame camera, is Ultra Wide, I was pleased with the extreme degee of view captured. Images are sharp. The vignetting is somewhat harsh, but correctable in post processing. The fixed lens shade may be the prime reason for vignetting. The gigantic lens cover is inconvenient, requiring some big pockets to store it while shooting. For the price the lens is an acceptable addition to my gear.

Amazing lens for the price

I haven't put this lens through any sort of testing but the first images out of it seem to look pretty good.Solid feelingHUGE chunk of glass Smooth feeling focusing collarI like the long throw focusing collar, helps with fine focusing.I do wish the'd include some sort of method to attach a ND filter, or had a filter slot. The Sony version basically has an extension added to the back of the lens that makes this lens longer than the Canon/Nikon mount pictured.

Nice lens for the price

I bought this lens for my trip to Iceland next week. Meanwhile, I have been using it to take photos of downtown San Jose and the Golden Gate Bridge. So far it's been great on my Sony a7II.

Excellent lens for astro and real estate

So far I've used this lense for astro and real estate photography. It's beautiful and the images come out crisp almost completely to the edges. For the money it's hard to beat.

Excellent manual focus lens

I shoot with a K-70 and a KS-2 (APSC) and it's hard to find an inexpensive wide angle lens. Most are minimum 18mm and this 14mm provides a little bit wider angle view. It is perfect for taking photos of downtown scenes, architecture and some landscapes. I find myself using much more than I thought I would. Makes me want to get a 10mm. Focusing the manual lens is easy considering that shooting just across the street your focus is set to infinity.

Big bang for the bucks

Full disclosure - I bought this lens used but in excellent condition. The only reason I bought it was because a local Pueblo Mission (Gran Quivera - National Monument) was hosting a "dark sky" night where they would keep the Mission Ruins open until 10:30-11PM to allow astronomers, photographers, a great view of a very dark-sky part of your state. I bought this lens because I wanted to try my hand at photographing the milky way. The one draw back of this lens is that it doesn't have AF and the aperture is controlled with a ring on the lens. Otherwise it is a great lens and really a perfect choice for anyone wanting to get into night sky photography without breaking the bank. For night sky photography you really don't need AF anyway. The IQ with this lens is excellent considering the price. Much better than I anticipated actually. I'm attaching a couple of images I took with this lens. One if of Horseshoe Bend near Page, AZ and the other is a night sky image at Gran Quivera (with some light painting on the ruins done with a small red flashlight)

budget but pro level

the lens is surprisingly good in almost all the aspects, except for vignetting, that can be fixed in post production when you properly set the shot, better try to see the results on a big monitor and take some notes I order the cheapest version of this lens, however I was able to use the function of sound confirmation while focusing, I think this is performed by the body of the Pentax, I check on different forums and in order to have that function in Canon or Nikon, you have to pay 100$ more. One more reason that I love my Pentax!

I'm using this lens on a canon 5d mark 4 and definately recommend it!

I'd previously purchased the rokinon 12mm which yielded great results but was tired of dealing with the curvature of the shots in post post production. I use the rokinon 14mm for all my astrophotography and get excellent results! there is just slight curvature on the edges which is easy to deal with. After testing two top name brand lenses I found that my 12mm Rokinon produced much better results. I purchased the 14mm Rokinon 2.8 and I'm really pleased with the results!! The clarity is awesome! There's not much fisheye distortion as with my 12mm. The lens is built solidly and is fairly light. I'm using this lens on a canon 5d mark 4 and definately recommend it!

Excellent Lens!

By Whitedevil

I had the same lens configuration made by Canon (at 4 times the price) but it was damaged just before my trip so I needed a last minute replacement. I purchased this lens primarily for taking pictures of the night sky on my Canon 6D body and couldn't be more pleased with the results. I was very impressed with the pics I took with it in the daytime as well. I would definitely recommend this lens.
