This has been, the best upgrade for my a6000.

I purchsed this lens as a carry-around lens for street photography. It is a bit heavier than I would like. I have it attached to my Sony a6000. It seems to be well-constructed. I can't comment on the image quality since I haven't been able to use it as much as I've wanted yet.

One Extra Low Dispersion combined with three Aspherical and elements to control chromatic and comatic aberrations, as well as reduce color fringing, for sharper, clearer imagery. The fast and bright f/1.4 maximum aperture provides easy shooting in difficult lighting conditions and enables greater control for selective focus applications, which is further enhanced by the manual focus design and rounded nine-blade diaphragm to produce pleasing bokeh.

All lens elements utilize Ultra Multi-Coating to reduce lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy when working in harsh lighting conditions. The non-rotating 58mm front filter mount enables the use of polarizing, graduated ND, and other filter types that require precise positioning while its internal focus design maintains the overall length of the lens during use.
