Sachtler smoothness and durability, plus the s1 series can balance very light cameras unlike the old v20, so for a freelancer it's the best overall head. Fast, light, smooth and durable. Lighted bubble is critical. And the SL legs are killer! I fought the concept for years as gimmicky or overly complex but they aren't much heavier and truly do work quickly and provide the same stability as the traditional legs. Great setup for making smooth moves quickly and easily. You can setup and balance basically any cam up to roughly 40lb in minutes, then reset for a dslr in no time. Try that with an oconnor!
