awesome for the money - For ASTRO PHOTOGRAPHY it's better than Canon L glass. I bought this for Astro only.

Nice lens. Purchased for astrophotography but also use it during the daytime. Focus is manual but easy to achieve. This far I’ve collected some nice images of the Orion Nebula with this lens.

This is an extremely nice lens, especially when you consider the cost. This lens will perform with others costin 2-3x as much.

I absolutely love this lens. I shoot a Sony A7rii and I just received this lens a couple of hours ago. I wanted to post the pictures that I took right out of the box. All I did was crop the images and with some minimal edits. For the price this lens is amazing. Learning how to shoot manual has been a blessing in disguise.

Great lens, if you have the time to manual focus. Not ideal for moving subjects...of course. The Sony system provides a considerable amount of assistance when using manual focus.

This focal length is great for portraits, giving you distance to move. Sharp through out and corner to corner with minimal CA which can be fixed in post.

The old adage in real estate is location, location, location. For wildlife photography my mantra is glass, glass, glass. What do I mean by that? The most important piece of equipment is a really good lens.
Korean lens manufacturer, Rokinon, released yet another prime lens earlier this year: the Rokinon 135mm f/2.0 - a budget telephoto prime lens earning its place in the competition with other portrait lenses.
Join Ruth Medjber in the studio and on location as she showcases Rokinon's 135mm f/2.0 full frame manual focus lens. Perfect for both studio and location shoots, the 135mm lens is an exceptional tool for head shots and portraiture, offering a great angle of view and super sharp results when the l...

Amazing Budget Lens

The 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC Lens from Smayang is a manual focus telephoto prime lens useful for portraiture and most telephoto applications. Its fast f/2.0 maximum aperture is effective in low light and enables shallow depth of field control. With a rounded 9-blade diaphragm, shallow depth of field imaging will be rendered with pleasing out-of-focus highlights. Compatible with both full frame and APS-C format mirrorless E mount cameras, this lens provides a 35mm focal length equivalence of 202.5mm when used on APS-C cameras. Its minimum focus distance is 2.6'.
The optical design includes one extra-low dispersion lens element to control chromatic aberration, contributing to sharp, color-accurate imaging, and each of its lens elements features Ultra Multi-Coating to improve light transmission and reduce ghosting and flare. An internal focus system prevents the front end from rotating which allows more effective use of variable filters.
A durable metal barrel with a wide focus ring and manual aperture control ring offer tactile control over focus and exposure. An included, removable lens hood deters stray light from entering the lens, while protecting it from accidental impact and precipitation.
