Tremendous bang for the buck. Solid build qualities with a smooth aperture ring. I feel that it's weighty enough for people like me that appreciate robust lenses but light enough to move on the fly. Doesn't get in the way in small spaces where slight movements are key. Love the small qualities of the image that it captures. The T1.5 is great for darker situations. I use this on a Canon C200 so autofocus is not enabled. However, focus assist is helpful in finding that crisp shot on your subject.

It's a decent lens at a great price. Don't expect to shoot much at T1.5 as the image is super soft. If you use it anywhere from T4 and up you'll be happy with the results as it's similar in quality/sharpness to a Canon at that point. For my needs it's a lens I plan on getting rid of for the pricier Canon or Zeiss as I demand sharpness at least around T2.

The Samyang 24 mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF-Mount was developed primarily for film and video applications. The cine version of Samyang 24 mm lens features industry-standard gearing for the focus and aperture ring and the aperture ring has been "declicked" for smooth iris pulls. The aperture and focus scales have also been relocated to the side of the lens, where it is easier for focus pullers to read them.
The Samyang 24 mm cine lens is compatible with full-frame sensors. APS-C sensors with a crop factor of 1.5 - 1.6 will exhibit a 35 mm equivalent angle-of-view equal to approximately 38 mm. The optical construction is comprised of 13 lenses arranged in 12 groups. Four lenses are low-dispersion glass (ED), plus two aspheric elements. The 24 mm features Ultra Multi Coated (UMC) multi-coated lenses for improved light transmission and resistance to ghosting and flares.
