I have 4 of these and I gave 4 more for Christmas. They are reliable and speedy for most applications. They are reasonably priced. I like the 1MB size so I can store my work on several cards.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter for her Canon Point-n-Shoot camera. You can always rely on SanDisk product reliability.

Fast processing. Writes tons of photos with no apparent slowing. Plus, this little CF has been moved between the camera and computer so many times (along with a few tumbles across the floor) that you'd think it was constructed from steel.

I have used this brand for weddings, baby pics, etc. and it always performed as expected. Even when I did not use the memory card for awhile, it still performed as expected. I will continue to buy the scanDish brand media card.

Canon does not specify the speed card needed by their PowerShot line but that doesn't mean you need a fast card. I found the 60x plenty fast for still photographs. While I don't use the video capabilities of the camera a 60x card is probably fast enough. The bottom line, don't buy a faster card if you don't need it.

SanDisk compact flash cards are the only cards I use for my wedding/portrait photography. The many SanDisk cards I have have proven very reliable and rugged (considering the many times they've been dropped).

It just does what it's supposed to do. What more can you ask of flash memory.

This is the only memory card I buy. Anything faster is wasted on my Digital Rebel. No card is more reliable. Just be sure you buy from a reputable dealer because there are more knock-offs of this than any other memory card.

Can't go wrong with Ultra II CF
By Cathy P.
Fast processing. Writes tons of photos with no apparent slowing. Plus, this little CF has been moved between the camera and computer so many times (along with a few tumbles across the floor) that you'd think it was constructed from steel.
With a minimum write speed of 9 megabytes per second, the new SanDisk Ultra II Card is 50 percent faster than SanDisk's Ultra CF card.
The increasing megapixel count of digital cameras can result in extremely large image files which lengthens the time required for the camera to capture the image and save it to the digital film card. SanDisk has designed its new SanDisk Ultra II CF and SD cards so that large image files can be saved in less time and photographers can take additional pictures more quickly. The cards are fully compatible and interchangeable with all CF digital cameras, card readers and adapters.
Each card features a minimum write speed of 9 megabytes per second (MB/sec.) and a minimum read speed of 10MB/sec.
•SanDisk's Ultra CompactFlash / Ultra II CompactFlash, is a line of high-speed storage cards specifically designed for use in the rapidly growing market segment of high-performance digital cameras.
• This card is perfect for advanced photographers who require high-performance cards to quickly shoot many high-resolution images; ideal for photos of moving cars or trains, sporting events, sprinting animals or any other event that requires fast snapshot and recovery time.
• In advanced cameras, these cards have been developed to save large image files to the card as quickly as possible so the camera will be ready to take the next picture.
• SanDisk Ultra CompactFlash/Ultra II cards are fully compatible and interchangeable with all CompactFlash digital cameras. They also work with all SanDisk ImageMates and PC Card Adapters.
