For Heavy Duty Light Stands. NOT really for C Stands.

I don't know if it always has but, at the time that I purchased these casters, the product description clearly stated that they were for stands with 1 inch (25mm) tubing. These casters are, apparently, NOT meant for C Stands. Since the stand I was purchasing for appeared to be a Chinese clone of the Savage Pro Duty Drop Stand, I took a chance. They are perfect! Game changer for my garage turned studio and, I'm sure that, the more space you have, the more you'll appreciate the super smooth operation of these casters. Make sure they are installed properly, meaning all at the correct vertical angle, or there will be a slight lurch/wobble when the casters spin under the feet of the stand to change direction. If your stands have the correct sized tubing, no drilling or alteration at all will be necessary. I'm sure that, though these might adapt to C Stands with some effort and alteration, there are probably better, simpler solutions out there for them. I'm a VERY happy customer and I highly recommend this product for anyone with heavy duty light stands (with 1"/25mm tubing). I'll be getting another set for an older light stand.

Works Great After Modification

The wheels are great, simple design, easy to add and remove. I had the same problem getting them to fit my heavy duty stands. The metal inserts provided were too big not allowing me insert the leg into the caster. I purchased some metal bar and cut to length. Works great!

Don't fit on a C-stand.

I bought these in hopes that they would fit on the C-stand I also ordered. I had asked ahead of time if they fit, but no one could answer me. I also tried them on other various stands that I own, but they never fit in such a way that they actually roll. Now I'm stuck with them and have no use for them. If anyone knows of a good use for them I'd love to hear it. The quality seems fine, but I don't know what to use them on, since there's only three (which would be perfect if they fit on any of my MANY three-legged stands), that kind of limits it.
