The Sennheiser EW 112 P G4 is worth the price. Easy to set up and use. Clear voice. Thank you Adorama for including the batteries, cleaning kit, and the SKB hard case. Only Adorama gives these extras. The foam in the SKB Case's foam was limiting if you don't plan to remove the lav mic from the transmitters and the receivers, so we cut it out to make space. Overall, highly recommended.

Simple and reliable. If you have an important job or you just don’t want to miss a moment of audio then don’t try out all of the “money savers” in the long run it pays for its self in reliability alone.

You can't go wrong with Sennheiser. Their microphones are built like tanks. This wireless lav mic is no exception. Strong and sturdy. Great audio quality with many programmable options. I highly recommend for any professional shoot.

A subtle evolution from the G3. Works the same, great quality in a very durable package. Lav mic can be upgraded, although the ME 2 is OK and good for the price.

Architect's Specification
A wireless RF transmission system consisting of a camera receiver and a bodypack transmitter with a clip-on microphone. The system features 20 fixed frequency banks with up to 12 compatible frequency presets and 1 user bank with up to 12 user programmable frequencies.
The receiver is menu-driven with a backlit LCD display showing the current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, metering of RF level, metering of AF level, lock status, battery status, muting function or line output level, and pilot tone evaluation. An auto-lock feature is provided to prevent settings from being accidentally altered.
The receiver parameters are programmable in the receiver menu.
The receiver features a 3.5 mm audio output with a maximum output of +11 dBu (mono, unbalanced).
Nominal/peak deviation is +/-24 kHz/ +/-48 kHz. Squelch threshold is adjustable to three levels: Low (5 dB micro V), Middle (15 dB micro V) and High (25 dB micro V).
The receiver incorporates the Sennheiser HDX compander system and a defeatable pilot tone squelch. Sensitivity is < 1.6 micro V (typical) for 52 dBA eff S/N with HDX engaged at peak deviation. Adjacent channel rejection is >= 65 dB (typical). Intermodulation attenuation is >= 65 dB (typical); blocking is >= 70 dB. Signal-to-noise ratio at 1 mV and peak deviation is >= 110 dBA. Total harmonic distortion (THD) is <= 0.9 %. The audio output level is adjustable within a 42 dB range in steps of 6 dB.
Power is supplied to the receiver by two 1.5 V AA size batteries or by one Sennheiser BA 2015 rechargeable accupack. Nominal voltage is 2.4 V, current consumption is typical 180 mA at nominal voltage; <= 25 micro A when receiver is switched off. Operating time is typical 8 hours. The receiver has a rugged metal housing; dimensions are approximately 82 x 64 x 24 mm (3.23" x 2.52" x 0.94"). Weight including the batteries is approximately 160 grams (0.35 lbs). Operating temperature ranges from -10 Degree C to +55 Degree C (+14 Degree F to +131 Degree F).
The receiver is the Sennheiser EK 100 G4.
The transmitter is menu-driven with a backlit LCD display showing the current frequency, frequency bank and channel number, metering of AF level, transmission status, lock status, pilot tone transmission, muting function, and battery status. An auto-lock feature is provided to prevent settings from being accidentally altered.
The transmitter parameters is either configurable in the associated receivers menu and synchronized with the transmitter via an integrated infrared interface or is programmable in the transmitter menu.
The transmitter is equipped with a mute switch, which is switchable between "AF on/off", "RF on/off" and "Disabled" via the user interface.
Nominal/peak deviation is +/-24 kHz/ +/-48 kHz. Frequency stability is <= +/-15 ppm. RF output power at 50 Ohm is 30 mW (typical).
The transmitter incorporates the Sennheiser HDX compander system and a defeatable pilot tone squelch. Audio frequency response ranges from 80 - 18,000 Hz (microphone) or 25 - 18,000 Hz (line). Signal-to-noise ratio at 1 mV and peak deviation is >= 110 dBA. Total harmonic distortion (THD) is <= 0.9 %. Input sensitivity is adjustable within a 60 dB range in steps of 3 dB.
Power is supplied to the transmitter by two 1.5 V AA size batteries or by one Sennheiser BA 2015 rechargeable accupack. Nominal voltage is 2.4 V for a rechargeable battery or 3 V for a battery, current consumption is typical 180 mA at nominal voltage; <= 25 micro A when transmitter is switched off. Operating time is typical 8 hours. The transmitter has a rugged metal housing; dimensions are approximately 82 x 64 x 24 mm (3.23" x 2.52" x 0.94"). Weight including the batteries is approximately 160 grams (0.35 lbs). Operating temperature ranges from -10 Degree C to +55 Degree C (+14 Degree F to +131 Degree F).
The transmitter is the Sennheiser SK 100 G4.
