Rubber pads are strategically placed at the top of the baseplate, providing a cushion between your camera and the aluminum base, thereby preventing any direct contact.

Designed to accommodate 15mm standard rods, the baseplate ensures a secure fit with a red ratchet knob screw. The side of the baseplate features 1/4-20 threaded holes, offering additional mounting options for your convenience.

The underside of the baseplate is thoughtfully designed with four 1/4-20 and two 3/8-16 threaded holes, allowing for easy attachment of a tripod plate. To maintain its lightweight design, excess aluminum has been removed from the bottom of the plate during the machining process.

The Shape Shoulder Mount Kit also includes a removable support bracket for a METABONES adapter (FS5MA). This bracket, which can be easily attached to the baseplate, supports the weight and reduces stress on the camera lens mount. It can be precisely positioned thanks to a 3mm vertical adjustment feature and can be removed when not in use.

The kit comes with a set of 15mm 10-inch rods, making it an ideal choice for drone and gimbal applications. It's designed with a lightweight system for mounting any standard 15mm accessories.

In addition to the baseplate, the shoulder mount kit includes the Quick Handle Rod Bloc (HAND5) featuring Shape's patented red push-button technology. With a simple press of your thumb, you can adjust the angle of the handle, which locks in place once you release the button.

The handle and baseplate attach to a pair of 15mm 18-inch rods (15TUBE18), along with an ergonomic and compact padded shoulder pad (SHPAD3) and a back pad with a 1/4 thread for attaching various accessories (PAD1).
