Lens is very good and sharp even at wide open. I purchased it for Night photography and Milky way photo, I still have to use it for that purpose.

This lens is incredible. Look beautiful ?? image quality wow... Very sharp, I like color sigma. 20mm perfect for me and with my a7IV and APSC crop, it's almost 35mm

Very fast, relatively sharp lens with minimal defraction, used specifically for aurora and astro for a season and pretty happy with it. Very comparable to the sony 20mm 1.8, but takes up about twice the space in your camera bag. Over all a pretty good lens for the money.
