Fantastic super telephoto even at twice the cost.

Pro tier super telephoto zoom at 40% of the price to the comparable GMaster 100 to 400. Seems like a no brainer.

Expensive, but solid and well-built. Glad I bought it.

I purchased the Sigma TS-111 ring from Adorama. I agree with others, that $130 is a bit much for that ring. However, I got tired of reading bad reviews from cheaper rings and I could never really be sure if those rings were fully compatible with the lens. The TS-111 ring is solid, well built, and fits the lens and my tripod like a glove.

The PERFECT Tripod mount for SONY 24-105mm Lens

This is a must have for mounting your Sony long range lenses to your tripod. I purchased a cheaper off-brand and it didn't fit at all, even though the description promised it would. The quality is excellent! Adorama is an excellent seller, packages well and ships fast! I highly recommend the mount and Adorama. You won't be disappointed.

The removable Arca-Swiss tripod socket is compatible with Arca-Swiss platforms and clamps and its exclusive protective cover makes the lens easier to carry and use when shooting hand-held.

Note:

1. This product is compatible with the Arca Swiss screw knob clamp. Please ensure that it is screwed and fixed tightly. This product is not designed for lever type clamps. There are some lever clamps available that do not fix firmly and safely.
2. Please ensure that 2 Safety Stopper Screws (supplied) are always fixed so that the Arca Swiss clamp will not fall off.
