This is a beast of a tripod for the price - a bit on the bulky side, but if you need something sturdy at good value, this is an excellent choice.

I've been using a Tiltall that I got a few years ago. I had a genuine Leitz Tiltall many years ago that disappeared, and got the new one to replace it because I'd really liked the original. Sadly, the new version is a very poor copy, but I've been putting up with it because it's functional and I didn't want to spend any more money if I didn't have to -- and it looked like a decent tripod was going to set me back a few hundred bucks. Recently, the Tiltall-copy has loosened up AND I was commandeered to shoot my son's wedding. It was a small (him, his fiance, and both parents) ceremony, and we didn't want to bring in an outsider, so I was it. I wanted to shoot both still and video, so decided that after buying a new suit and shoes I'd wear exactly once, and paying through the nose for rapid COVID tests, I was entitled to spring for a new tripod. After browsing around on a few sites, the Slik stood out in terms bang for buck: great features, great reviews, and a price that didn't break the bank. Using it beside the Tiltall-copy was like day and night. I've known the name Slik since I worked in a camera shop back in the late 1970s, and they had a great reputation back then, so they'll be around if I have problems with it in the future; I don't expect to -- it's built like a truck -- but it's reassuring to know that they'll be there if I need them.

This tripod is very well built. It is very stable even at full height. The only drawback is that it is heavy. It's not a tripod that you would want to carry a long way.

I have only used my Slik Pro 700 DX Tripod a few times but so far it has lived up to all my expectations...very sturdy, easy to setup, and easy to mount my camera. It is a heavy tripod.

Outstanding piece of equipment. I was always a Bogen man, but this tripod is as good as the old Bogans. Great value,, very strong, Just hope it will hold up as well as Bogan.

For me this is working out to be a pefect purchase. I am 6' 5" and the extended hight makes it ideal and comfortable to use. It does have a bit of weight to it but for it size and how sturdy it is makes it well worth the tradeoff for me.

It's exactly as described. it's very sturdy and the head can be elevated quite high however it is heavy. It's not something to be toted around casually. It's an excellent tripod especially considering the price.

This is a very nice tripod that gives the photographer a very solid basis to work. However, the trade-off is that the tripod is overly heavy piece of equipment. I would not recommend this product to someone that wants to travel with minimum weight!! This tripod would best be used for a more fixed position for long term photography. Another real plus is at full extension you will have one of the sturdiest tripods in this price range.

Great, very solid and extremely tall tripod!I needed something tall enough to see the view finder, and sturdy enough to avoid the wind and camera shake (and still be able to take shots in an upward angle above my head). This does it, in spades! Only downside, ...it is BIG, and a bit heavy for long hikes, and even carry on luggage. For what I do, its perfect! At full height, the tripod is rock solid, no camera shake and everything tightens down firmly for large lenses. Easy to level, with the 2 built in bubble levels (and my camera level, in live view). 3 way head feels like a fluid head, and pans smoothly for video use. Great quality, especially in this price range! I could not be any happier! Thank you Adorama, for fast delivery!
