While this is a great cage, it has a few design failures. 1. The cage obstructs the WiFi button on the Canon M50 Mk ii. 2. The cage does not permit threading a power cord through the cage to the power jack on the bottom without removing the camera from the cage. The only available gap which can accommodate an L-plug without dismounting the camera is immediately below the cold shoe on the side opposite the built-in grip on the opposite side of the camera. This is not such a bad design if you mount an external handle on the non-grip side and mount the external power supply on the handle. This may be a superior organization to mounting the handle on the side with the existing grip which is where the shutter and video buttons are located. 3. The alignment mark on the cage is slightly offset from the alignment mark on the Canon M50 Mk ii. While some YouTube reviewers claim that a Canon M50 Mk ii can slip in this cage and will need to be remounted on a periodic basis, this is not at all true. When properly mounted, the camera fits snuggly against the inner rails of the cage and cannot shift position.
