This cage is very cleverly designed. Full access to battery below and various connections on the left side of the camera. Grip on right side of the camera is conformed to the camera body and very comfortable. Full view of the LED panel on the right side of the camera and no restriction to the shutter release and other controls for your right hand. I purchased the SmallRig Aluminum Arri Locating Side Handle. It is very solid and secures very quickly. I also purchased the SmallRig Arri Locating Handle. They both secore very quickly and are rock solid. I now have many options to mount a monito, shotgun microphone, wireless mic receiver, etc. Very handy!

Form fitting Cage. Works as expected and as advertised. All access points are easily opened.

Very well made and fit perfectly. Besides it’s use to add lights, monitor, handle ect it offers good protection to the camera itself. All camera functions are easily accessible. A carry strap can be used in the normal manner, mounting points are incorporated in the design.

Much better than the 1st generation of this. You no longer have to remove the triangular lug strap to put screw in a"anti-twist bolt". I think when they designed the first version of the cage got into grandpa's cough syrup...
