I tried this out for the ronin sc to balance a sony a7r4 with a 24?70. It sort of worked but very clunky. I ended up returning and swapping to a Ronin S. _

What sets the SmallRig Counterweight Mounting Plate for DJI Ronin-SC BSS2420B apart is its innovative design, specifically crafted to replace the original camera plate that comes with the RoninSC. This unique mounting plate is engineered to balance heavy-duty, long-lens setups by strategically mounting counterweights behind your camera, thereby enhancing the stability and precision of your shots.
The plate is thoughtfully designed with two rows of 1/4"-20 threads, providing the flexibility to mount optional Counterweight 2284 (100g) and 2285(200g) based on your specific needs. The front of the plate is equipped with a 1/4"-20 thread that seamlessly fits the original lens support accompanying the Ronin-S gimbal, ensuring compatibility and ease of use.
One of the standout features of this counterweight mounting plate is the millimeter scales on the sides, which aid in achieving precise positioning. This attention to detail ensures your camera is perfectly balanced, leading to superior image quality and reduced camera shake.
Additionally, this counterweight plate is compatible with the sliding clamp on the Ronin-SC quick release camera plate. This feature is particularly useful as it helps to remember the position when you need to re-balance the camera, saving you valuable time and effort.
The bottom of the plate is marked with light to heavy and lens position indicators, making it incredibly user-friendly and easy to balance your camera. This SmallRig Counterweight Mounting Plate for DJI Ronin-SC BSS2420B is an essential tool for photographers and videographers seeking enhanced stability and precision in their work.
