This light works great. My main concerns were for battery life and brightness, but for my purposes neither was a problem at all. I use it for lighting night scenes for photography to add accent or backdrop lights, and when I'm not using it for that it sits on a small boom arm at my desk to light my face for video calls at work. It is plenty bright for these purposes, and the battery life is definitely reasonable considering how compact it is. Having the dual threaded attachment points and a magnetic back has also turned out to be huge. I'll probably get another in the near future.

I really wanted to like this LED Light and a quick run and gun event setup... Sadly the battery life is a joke and not worth the time.

Great compact bright LED light with options like various colors and lighting effects. The all-metal aluminum body is solid and robust. Very handy for background or a close key light.

I was debating between this light and the Aputure MC, but this was on sale for 50 dollars, so I was able to snag two of these for the price of one MC! According to the specs, the M160 is also brighter than the MC, which does make sense, given that it is larger. The light works very well, and is bright enough to serve as a key light in a pinch. I can't say anything about the color accuracy since I don't have any way to verify it. The hue, intensity, and saturation all increment in steps of 1, so you can really dial in your colors. In CCT mode, it increments in steps of 100K. In RGB mode, changes in intensity appear to change the hue as well. I don't know if this is something that is normal or not, so I won't ding the M160 for this, but it is something I feel I should mention. It comes with two silicone covers. One white diffuser, and one black honeycomb cover to direct the light. The honeycomb cover also diffuses the light somewhat, but will also darken the light much more, so keep that in mind. The M160 also serves as a battery bank, so you can charge your electronics in a pinch. It also has a magnetic back, though I found the magnet to be a tad weak. The whole back needs to make full contact, or it will slide, at least in my experience. The silicone covers also have a lip, so the M160 can't properly touch whatever surface you are mounting it to, which may cause sliding as well. Overall, the M160 more than exceeds my expectations. It is a very bright light for its size, able to serve as a key light if necessary, and great for accent lighting. If you can get this on sale, then it's even better.
