Great photos, but I wish it could record video. Even the cheapest cameras can do so.

I use this camera to take pictures of social events, church events, flower and veggie gardening, birds, animals and landscapes. What I like best of the camera is the quality of pictures, ease of program changes, the weight and the versatility of the use of AF Minolta lens. I have had this camera for a month or so and I cannot find one thing bad about it.

First of all, the fact that this camera is brown, and not your typical black standard dslr is cool in itself. I was able to use it right out of the box (after I charged the battery) The on-screen menus are very helpful because being a beginner, I wouldn't have known what some of the options were for, without them. I've only had it less than a week but I feel I have already learned a little bit about professional photography. I am a small girl, but it's a bit heavy, I do believe that I will get used to that over time. It takes quality photos. After having 10 or more regular point and shoot digital cameras, this is everything I ever wanted in a camera.

"Here's an example where all those hard rules that so many live by just don't add up to a gold-medal shot."—Jack Howard
