Macro Lighting with Flexibility

The Sony HVL-MT24AM Macro Twin Flash while dated has a significant amount of flexibility, far more than a ring light. While the cost is higher than a standard ring light this added flexibility is well worth the additional cost. The number of features that are adjustable include the flash placement on the ring, flash placement out from the ring, separate lighting level adjustments for each flash and a handful of diffusers allowing for light level control. One of the downsides is the limited lens adapters (2, 90mm and 100mm) which come with the holder. I'm still learning how to use everything but it's clear the amount of flexibility this flash allows for is a clear advantage and allows for greater creativity.
