Fortunately, for 4K clip playback, there's an extremely affordable solution: Sony proudly introduces the easy-to-use, high-quality PMW-PZ1 4K memory player.

The PMW-PZ1 is equipped with an SXS card slot, HDMI output, 3G/HD-SDI outputs (x4), analog audio output, 3.5- inch QHD LCD and more. This combination of versatile interfaces enables the seamless playback, copying and monitoring of 4K and HD video across a diverse range of applications not only for video production but also for development of 4K equipment and 4K video walls at events, exhibitions, museums and other venues.

Multi-format Capability
Easy playback capabilities from 4K (24p to 60p) to HD ensure that professional users and consumers alike find this player convenient and simple to use. The PMW-PZ1 supports a wide variety of file formats - XAVC Intra, XAVC Long, XAVC S, MPEG HD422 and MPEG HD (420). Multi-format support allows you to play clips without having to make additional file system and frame rate adjustments.

Simple Copy and Backup
The PMW-PZ1 is equipped with a USB interface for connection to an external storage device. This enables you to copy data in SXS directly to external storage without employing any other device. The PMW-PZ1 will create a copy log (csv) in external storage that helps you to easily check the file name of copied files. For greater accuracy and to avoid any copy errors, you can activate the verify function before copying.

Versatile Interface
Connectivity and interoperability with other devices are vital for any memory player, enabling quick and easy operation. The PMW-PZ1 meets this need with a host of versatile input and output interfaces, including an HDMI port and four 3G/HD-SDI outputs. Through the HDMI port, the PMW-PZ1 can be connected to professional monitors and projectors and even consumer TVs, for the most flexible operation under various production circumstances. An independent audio output is also available on the player. The player is equipped with two USB interfaces - one for connection to external USB storage and the other to a mouse device from which you can control the PMW-PZ1. Not only does this enable you to copy data, but it also allows you to play stored clip data from the external USB storage device.

• Easy 4K and HD output to digital signage or a projector. External storage data can also be played.
• Export edited 4K data to SXS or external USB storage for preview. This player can also be used to copy edited data for delivery. Use an HDMI connection for consumer TV playback.
• Recorded 4K images (for example, by the F55/FS7) can be easily and immediately checked on location using the PMW-PZ1.
