great step up from a traditional camcorder

Bought this primarily to record amateur dramatic performances, love the HD quality so much will be using it on my sightseeing trips as well. Excellent piece of serious kit.

Very nice cine cam in a small package.

As an old news guy who always tried to make my footage look more like film, this little gem is a blessing. I can produce an image that has that nice warm filmlike look with shallow depth of field in a size that I can carry anywhere, even on planes. I have the XLR adaptor so I can get great sound too. I'm retired now but I wish these were around back when I was on the street. It's a lot of fun to work with and Jimmy at Adorama was a pleasure to deal with and it was delivered in two days.
