All these new line of Squiers are VERY impressive, even the affinity series had a facelift. This one has an alder body which is what the Jazzmasters are made of. Very impressive tone. To me it feels like an unfinished fender with decent inexpensive ceramic pickups and tuners that might hold up for a year or two. My suggestion: swap the pickups with original Fender Tele pickups on reverb and some used fender tuners you've got yourself the go to guitar.

Guitar is gorgeous, came in great condition and sounds amazing. Don't let the price fool you, this is a great value. Only wish it came with some type of guitar case.

A Fender-designed Tele made in China, and you know what? It's pretty darn good. Great feel, action is nice (different at first, and then it starts to fit you like an old shoe). Doesn't have the greatest pickups, but hey, they can be replaced. Regarding electric guitar, I'm a beginner, but I had an experienced friend check it out, and he deemed it a fine instrument at the price point (which I got it through Slickdeals.net for $50 off). I'd recommend it to any beginner or maybe even intermediate guitarist.
