This holder is professional quality, as the description states. The width adjustment knob on the end turns very smoothly and precisely. I used it on my tripod with a ball type head to record my golf swing. The results were excellent.

I bought a plastic spring-loaded clamp prior to this and it didn't take long for the spring to break. This all metal clamp with screw adjustment is the perfect solution for what I needed.

I was skeptical about this but upon delivery was delighted. It is not only very well made but the adjustments are smooth and the construction very high quality. I feels like a unit that should sell for at least twice the price. In short I'm quite impressed and will be using this for a long time. Glad that I bought it.
