It has great power and relatively easy to carry (at the time it came out there were no matching product out there in the market) however the electronics inside has some flaws. I left the light on for a longer period of time and one of the diodes got blown out. Luckily an electrician friend of mine replaced the part and now it is good again, but just yesterday something was again overheated inside because after a while I could only use the cold white LEDs... Also the plastic diffuser you can slide in the front bracket can easily fall out and breaks as it was made from hard plastic.

Fantastic: separate button for on/off, for color temperature, and for brightness. very portable. Flaws: heavy. and the shoe mount is virtually worthless. Also, b/c it has only 16 LED lights (vs. hundred), the shadow is really 3 shadows. Instant fix: airbox blow-up softener, easy to attach to light

I use the Torch for wedding photography, I use it for a lots of composites, and WOW I love it! specially because you can dial the WB with a knob, and really really very powerful, this LED is a beast, the battery time is awesome, this LED was made for night painting and night portraits, at least for me it is. I don't do video, but I know if one day i have to, I already have an awesome video light too, unfortunately the diffuser that came with it broke next day after being in my bag :( I incorporate the Torch Led on my workflow, I use it all the time. during day or during nigh, indoors and outdoors. www.shootinforlove.com
