What's that you say? Your camera doesn't have wifi but your client expects it? Enter the OTG (on the go) adapter. For events I shoot with a pair of Nikon D700s. Recently I was given a brief that included sending a handful of images between locations. After much research into costly wifi adapters, I learned about OTG adapters. These little cables let your cell phone read your camera! I immediately checked with Adorama and found this one made by Tether Tools. A name I've come to rely on for tethered shooting. Yes it works! I use it with a Samsung Galaxy S5. No special App. I can choose which images I want to import from the camera and send by email or social media. To help things move along I shoot raw + jpeg on the occasion I need to send images immediately.
