Excellent tripod and light on the scale

This is a great tripod for those that need to pack light, including backpackers and hikers, but also want near full functionality. The only real thing you lose with this tripod is the ability film from your DSLR using a handle for smooth pan/tilt. For those that are traditionalists and using a DSLR for what it is was really designed for - photography - this thing is great. My only wish is that it had snap adjustments on the legs instead of twist locks.

Professional quality and good value for the money

Good professional grade tripod. Quite light for carrying around. The ball head needs some use and constant adjustments before it becomes smooth for use by just moving the camera around. Also since it’s lightweight, it can shift easily so may need to add some anchor weight in the provided hook. Overall good value for the money.

Impressive quality - great bang for the buck

I actually sold a far more expensive 3LT tripod and replaced it with this, and it is way better! It doesn't have the monopod feature but I didn't want that anyway. I have used this with a Sigma 150-600 on a a6300 and it worked just fine. The ballhead is also surprisingly good!
