It's very good but not perfect.

I'm relatively satisfied with this thing. I'm using the top handle with Tilta cage v2 for Sony FX3. It's quite comfort and versatile. However, although I still recommend it, there is one thing I still want to improve. That is when I assembled it with the nato rail that came with my cage, I still had to use a tool to tighten it. If only it could be assembled without having to use additional tools, I would think it would be great.

Straightforward and Perfect

Slides in perfectly to the Tilta cage, locks securely in place with little fuss. The quick release cold shoe mount on the top makes it painless to attach extra accessories like a monitor. While pricey, I believe it's a necessary addition to any BMPCC rig.

Best top handle out there!

Strong and sturdy, can be mount as a top handle or side handle if you wish. Really easy quick release system. I love the little stopper it has in the cold shoe to prevent accessories from slipping out. It’s the reason I picked the Titla cage over SmallRig.

About Tilta Top Handle Replacement for Red DSMC2 Cage A1/B1/C1

This top handle is for use with the Tilta Camera Cages for Red DSMC2 - A1, B1, and C1. The handle features power pass through from the top plate to allow you to power accessories through the Top Handle Power Connection Module (ESP-02). A R/S button on the top of the handle allows you to record start/stop the camera directly.

The plate is only sold as a replacement piece for the Tilta Camera Cages for Red DSMC2 - A1, B1, and C1 since it has exposed pins on the bottom that need to be covered by the top plate that is included in the cage for it to be safe and operational.
