Great Performance
Have used many different compactflash cards in my Canon cameras. Needed one quick, but of course, no one in town had any because everything has gone to sd. Bought the Transcend in desperation. Very pleased with the quick delivery and ultimate great performance.

Works As It Should
Works as it should in older camera. Glad Adorama still offers these. Prompt shipping. Took away one star because I could never get anyone at Adorama to respond to a question I had about the card. Chat wasn't sure of answer and referred me to call. No one returned call and no one responded to email. Had to just order CF and hope it worked.

Sweet Spot (and a weird iPod tangent)
Most folks are looking at this for older digital cameras. Nineteen bucks for the 16GB capacity is a good value for a reputable brand. For larger capacities you might check into SD-card to CF-slot adapters.
And now for something completely different: did you know that a CF card can be a drop-in upgrade for your ancient iPod Mini? Yes, a few people still love that design classic, an internet-distaction-free dedicated music player. **IMPORTANT** Use Disk Utility to format the card using "Apple Partition Map" (not the default) and MacOS Extended (journaled).

Will work in older Canon cameras.
Works fine in older equipment. I bought it as primary memory for a Canon D30, and there were no problems with it. I suspect people encounter problems if they rush trying to put the card into the camera as they need to mesh with the pins in the camera. (Much better to transfer with cable to prevent potential data loss from "jitter noise".)

Great price on a used Canon Rebel XTi. The body was like new. Got the 16gb CF card. No problems with the camara. I know it is an older model but the features and quality of the pictures are perfect for my purposes, with out spending a fortune. The Transcend 8Gb CF card met my needs
I needed a CF card for a DSLR I purchased used and looked to Adorama for choices. Great storage size for a great price
I grew accustomed to the 4gb CF card because that size is good for facilitating copying contents to a 4.7gb dvd with no fuss. As card storage sizes increased, it was becoming more difficult to find new cards without paying ever increasing prices, if one could find a 4gb card at all. I am pleased Adorama has them available at an affordable price.
