Joystick Camera Controller with On-board CCU Camera Controls
The ProductionVIEW Precision Camera Controller system is designed to control up to seven PTZ cameras. The Precision Camera Controller can be used as a stand-alone device or in conjunction with a variety of video switchers or mixers on the market today. The control surface gives system users realtime knobs and buttons to control functions. In addition to a joystick controller with separate pan, tilt and zoom speed adjustment knobs, there are controls for red & blue gain, detail, iris and gain as well. Two Precision Camera Controllers can be linked together to allow the user to control all cameras from either controller (but not concurrently, one controller at a time).

The system is capable of storing up to 14 pan, tilt and zoom position presets per camera. Two discrete control buses can be configured to select PTZ cameras, as well as control an external switcher or mixer via either RS-232 or tally outputs on the back of the console. The features and flexibility of the ProductionVIEW Precision Camera Controller makes it the ideal camera controller for a variety of applications, including houses of worship, local government, videoconferencing, live event production and other situations where PTZ camera control is required.

Color and Shading Controls
Controls for Red and Blue Gain, Detail, Iris and Gain are all front panel accessible on a per-camera basis from the console. One-push White Balance (OPWB), Autowhite balance (AWB) and Back Light Control are also available (depending on the connected camera).

Focus Controls
A large focus wheel for fast, accurate manual focus of the camera is built-in. With the push of a button, Fast Focus will zoom the camera in to allow manual adjustment of focus and then with a second button push, will zoom the camera out to its previous zoom position.

3-Axis Hall-Effect Joystick
The improved Hall-Effect joystick includes larger handle for better grip, along with a button that moves the PTZ camera to its home position when pressed.

Seven Auto-Configuring RS-232 Control Ports
The Precision Camera Controller has seven (7) discrete control ports which eliminates the need to daisy chain control cabling. The Precision Camera Controller is capable of auto-sensing each camera attached. Control codes for the following cameras are built-in:

Link To Second Precision Camera Controller
The Link port on Precision Camera Controller allows two Precision Camera Controllers to be connected, allowing camera control from one Precision Camera Controller or the other, however, only one controller or master, can be used at a time.

Master RS-232 Control Port
The master control port allows connection to 3rd party control systems or video switchers/mixers.

External Control Capability
The Precision Camera Controller has two rows of seven external control switches. These switches can be tied to Tally outputs and can be used to control external video switchers or preview monitors through contact closures or connected to tally lights such as those found on Vaddio's CCU series of camera systems.
