A large aperture Macro lens with an apochromatic designed for use with Nikon Z system. The MACRO APO-LANTHAR 65mm F2 Aspherical is an interchangeable lens for full-frame (Nikon FX format) mirrorless cameras with the Nikon Z mount, created by Voigtlander.
This is the third lens to bear the APO-LANTHAR name, following APO-LANTHAR 50mm F2 Aspherical and APO-LANTHAR 35mm F2 Aspherical, as a Nikon Z mount exclusive lens. MACRO APO-LANTHAR 65mm F2 Aspherical is a high-performance manual focus macro lens. It covers a full-size image circle and its optical design is optimized for the image sensor of the Nikon Z mirrorless cameras.
The lens is equipped with electronic contacts which communicate data between the lens and the body. In addition to Exif information and in-body image stabilization (3 axes), by combining with camera body features and the latest firmware, the lens has three types of focusing support functions:
Focusing by color changing of the focus point frame
Peaking function focusing
Focusing with the enlargement button
The optical performance of this 8-group, 10-element lens with an aspherical surface on both sides and six elements of abnormal partial-dispersion glass is the best in the history of Voigtlander. In addition to the large bokeh effect, which can be enjoyed with the large maximum aperture F value for a macro lens, the lens also exhibits sharp image making performance from the maximum aperture. The floating lens mechanism enables extremely high-quality images of even distant subjects, beginning from a minimum focusing distance of only 0.31m (1/2x magnification).
