One of the standout features of this cage is the reversible top handle. It can be conveniently repositioned over the lens area when an XLR adapter is in use. The handle is integrated with a cold shoe mount and a 15mm tube clamp, making it compatible with our UVF Mount kits used with 3rd party electronic viewfinders. For added convenience, the handle can fold down for easy packing and can be reconfigured onto the left, vertical 15mm rod for a secondary grip.

This DSLR cage is designed with fold-out LCD screens in mind, allowing for easy positioning. An included HDMI cable clamp can be mounted to the vertical rod to secure video cables and prevent port damage, enhancing the longevity of your equipment.

The bottom portion of the cage boasts a Manfrotto quick release dovetail, compatible with a variety of Manfrotto tripod heads. The quick release functionality is as simple as turning the thumbscrew and depressing the release pin to slide the plate backward out of the base.

The cage also features a built-in lens adapter support system integrated into the base, perfect for attaching to adapters with a 1/4"-20 on the bottom like our E-Mount to PL Mount Pro (1/4-20 Support Foot), MFT to PL Mount Pro (1/4-20 Support Foot), and many Metabones products.

For those desiring lightweight 15mm support, the cage can be combined with our Unified DSLR 15mm Baseplate to provide pass-through rod support (sold separately).
