About Zeiss 28mm T2.1 CP.3 XD Compact Prime Cine (Feet) PL Bayonet Mount Lens #1352549

It's the ZEISS CP.3 XD 28mm T2.1 Compact Prime Cine Lens for PL Mount, a high-quality, professional-grade lens that delivers superior image quality and reliable usability. This lens is renowned for its clean, crisp imaging characteristics, a signature trait of ZEISS products. With its interchangeable mount system and full-frame coverage, this lens offers unparalleled versatility, making it compatible with a wider range of cameras and mount types than any other cine lens available.

The ZEISS CP.3 XD lens is equipped with ZEISS eXtended Data technology, an innovative and groundbreaking lens data technology designed to streamline and simplify the workflow both on set and in post-production. This technology combines two data sets: key lens data based on the open /i Technology standard, supported by a multitude of cameras and accessories, and ZEISS-specific lens data that provides precise lens characteristics.

On set, the ZEISS eXtended Data feature allows crew members to monitor lens settings in real-time, pre-visualize modified images, and utilize new, automated search functions within data wrangling. In post-production, the benefits of ZEISS eXtended Data are manifold, including image fine-tuning, editing, color grading, visual effects, virtual and augmented reality, multi-cam live productions, projection, and 3-D imaging.

The ZEISS CP.3 XD lens provides an end-to-end solution for recording and feeding data for onset application and in post-production. The ZEISS eXtended Data is processed in real-time and recorded frame accurately. The data can be transferred either to any supported equipment via an external LEMO interface or directly to any camera compatible with the open /i Technology standard via a 4-pin interface (PL-mount). With the additional ZEISS plug-in for leading compositing and editing software tools, the lens' characteristics can be removed and/or reapplied to the footage, providing a seamless and efficient workflow.
