Many people are already familiar with the UTG 1" True Hunter 4-16X40 Scope, but UTG has always been very thoughtful in accommodating all kinds of needs. Thus, a model was deemed necessary to offer the scope by itself without scope rings at a lower cost to the consumer. Especially designed for Varmint/Predator hunting, a consistent and precise 1/4 MOA per click windage/elevation adjustment come standard with an adjustable parallax from an impressive 5 yards to infinity. Premium zero locking and resetting target turrets are featured for locking in that zero and keeping it. Emerald coated lenses help to achieve maximum light transmission for improved clarity and the 1-Click illumination memory gets you right back to the color/brightness setting last used.

Reticle
Leapers UTG started introducing mil-dot reticle optics from as early as 2003. Today, the mil-dot reticle is widely accepted and used in the industry. Leveraging our years of experience in this area, we developed and refined the unique Tactical Range Estimating (TRE) mil-dot reticle and offer this feature in almost all of our optics. With some patient learning and practice using our TRE, shooters can enhance accuracy and performance in ways not imagined before. Although the UTG 1" True Hunter 4-16X40 Scope is equipped with our patented EZ-TAP Illumination Enhancing System for red/green dual-color and 36 multi-color modes, the UTG 4-16X56 30mm Bubble Leveler Scope reticle does not specifically rely on battery power for the reticle to function. The optics features an etched-glass reticle which provides a standard black reticle when colored illumination is not required and is turned off.
