A built in LCD screen acts as both a viewfinder and playback monitor. The EDGE X's 160-degree wide-angle lens captures 1080p HD video up to 60 frames per second. The design allows the maximum view angle without the major distortion found in other wide-angle, point-of-view cameras. Both features make Edge X ideal for kayaking, fishing, stand up paddle boarding and diving. Built in Wi-Fi allows the user to operate and see what is on the viewfinder remotely on an iOS or Android tablet or smart phone and also to enable wireless file transfer using the free Intova EDGE X app. The glass lens port has a proprietary UV treatment that increases scratch resistance and reduces reflection.
