Great flash. Preflash settings work great and variable output is very nice. Only complaint is the battery compartment is very tight and hard to open. Had to use a pair of pliers to get a good enough grip on the door to open it after a few dives.

For under $200 this is a good buy, and I say under $200 because you still need to purchase an arm, bracket and slave cable. Some experimentation required to get the right flash power for each shot, so hope your subject isnt moving. A diffuser is important - even on the lowest setting macro shots can be overexposed or striated. Slightly bulky, it feels like there is a lot of "empty space" inside. Fortunately not very heavy.
