The Varavon Birdycam II is a handheld motorized 3-axis gimbal stabilization system for cameras weighing up to 5.5 pounds. It allows you to capture smooth, fluid shots whether you're actively following the subject or the subject is simply passing by you. The camera platform is adjustable to support a variety of small to mid-sized cameras, including DSLRs, mirrorless cameras like the Sony a7s or GH4 and the Blackmagic Cinema Camera or Production Camera 4K.

The steering handle moves along three axes (up/down, left/right and sideways) and your camera hangs suspended on a gimbal in the center and smoothly follows your movements. Even without the motors running, the gimbal balances out relatively smoothly, but with the motors on, the stabilizer counteracts unwanted movements and shake to keep your camera stable. Additionally, there's also a thumb-control joystick on the steering handle that lets you pan and tilt the gimbal without moving the handle itself.

The motors are powered by up to two Varavon batteries, with one battery provided with the stabilizer. A stand is also included for setting the Birdycam down. All the components come to you in a compartmentalized case with soft foam interior and requiring hardly any assembly.

Motors
The I FLIGHT gimbal motors (PITCH,5208 ROLL & YAW 6208) makes it possible for a smooth stabilization.

PCB Board
Varavon use BaseCame Simple BGC (AlexMos) 32 bit controller and matching MOU.

Bluetooth Connection
Using an Android smartphone, the Bluetooth module provides an easy connection to the gimbals PID values.

One Touch Plate
With the 'one touch' camera plate, they created an easier way for the camera's directional movement and to be easily attached and detached.

Standard Dovetail
Varavon use a standard dovetail on the handle bar and the main body for easy installation. This provides compatibility with the Wirecam and other optional products.

Calibration
For easy and precise balancing of the gimbal, they have provided a calibration scale along with a baseline.

Locking Knob
Once locking knob has be engaged, it prevents the gimbal from any movement on that axis.

Upper Handle Bar
With the "folding handle" method, it is possible to apply the 1/4" screw whole and attach optional accessories.

Upper Handle
Varavon used a 1/4" locking knob on the handle for easy attachment and detachment from the handle bar. Installation of accessodes, such as the monitor and the joystick is possible.

Left and Right Handle Part
Using a 14mm bolt at the top of the handle bar, the handle can be mounted both at the top and bottom of the bar. Using a 16mm mounting hole at the bottom of the handle, the whole body can be mounted one stand or a Steadycam Arm.

Joystick
By applying the LED, you are able to check the mode's movement status. The joystick is capable in being placed on either the left or right handle of the body. It also has five different functioning modes.

Stand

Main Bar
With the 1 /4", 3/8. screw hole and the water level, the stand can be applied on the tripod and could be checked for its' level of horizontality.

Stand Handle
The handle could easily be attached to the stand and the upper handle. It can also be used as a handle for the gimbal.

Leg
The knob enables height adjustment and the rubber part of the knob prevents it from slipping.

Battery
Suitable for 12V or 16V battery. Select the voltage then press the Check Button for four seconds until the light on. With the VARAVON T7412 battery, 7.4V/8.4V/12V(10,400mAH) voltage is available for selection. In addition to the gimbal, the battery is compatible with the Motorroid and Timeroid.

Birdycam2 Bag
The Birdycam2 Bag was designed as a soft-hard case type in order to protect the product from major/minor extremal shocks. It may also be used for storage purposes and transferring products.

Lock Buckle
Varavon applied 4 lock buckles to protect the Birdycam.

Storage
The soft foam was designed to protect each part of the Birdycam from external shocks.
