The key features of the RoboSHOT cameras are Tri-Synchronous Motion, the silent direct drive pan/tilt motors, advanced Exmor image sensor, multi-element lens and ISP (image signal processor) combination. The Tri-Synchronous Motion algorithm in the RoboSHOT cameras is capable of moving all three (pan, tilt and zoom) axes simultaneously. The algorithm calculates the position and velocity of the smooth, direct-drive motor movements between the presets so pan, tilt and zoom arrive at the preset shot simultaneously, which allows for smooth and useable on-air camera movements. That's right, there's no more pan/tilt, then zoom like other PTZ cameras available today.
The lens, image sensor and ISP are the magic beans behind this camera's remarkable video performance characteristics. The lens is a powerful, glass, multi-element lens featuring a 30X optical zoom with an impressive 2.3deg. tele end and 63.7deg. wide field of view. The Exmor 1/2.8", 2.34 Megapixel, Full HD (1080p/60) high-speed, low noise CMOS image sensor combined with the Advanced ISP produces totally awesome, vivid, realistic color with super-fast, razor sharp auto focus and iris routines.
The RoboSHOT 30 uses the Vaddio EZCamera System to transport HSDS differential video, power and control to and from the camera over Cat-5e cables. The proven Quick-Connect Interfaces immediately provide the ultimate in configuration flexibility. The RoboSHOT cameras have an Ethernet port and a built-in web server, which allows the user to control the camera functions on a web page with any browser from anywhere in the world over the IP network. Telnet, IR Remote and RS-232 control for the camera are available to satisfy almost any, if not all, system control requirements.

Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI SR Interface
The Vaddio Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI - SR Interface was designed and built specifically to advance the Vaddio HD-Series cameras into a wide variety of digital video and extended control applications. The Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI is a perfect complement to the Vaddio HD-Series cameras as it takes advantage of the superb flexibility of the video system and incorporates Vaddio's EZCamera cabling system using two (2) Cat-5/5e/6 cables to transport Video, Power and Control between the camera and interface. Simply put, these products were designed and manufactured as a pair from the beginning.
The active electronics built-in both the HD-Series cameras and the Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI deliver high definition video using high speed differential signaling (HSDS) for the video and IR signals. HSDS is at the core of Vaddio's Cat-5 cabling systems and provides high definition video capability (up to 1080p/60) with superior video quality over cabling distances up to 100' (30.48m).
The Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI has many features including simultaneous analog component video (YPbPr) and digital video outputs (DVI-D or HDMI with a HDMI adapter) on separate connectors which is ideal for multiple monitoring and large projection systems. Extended control functions include Daisy Chain Control Emulation (DCCE) which allows single control port codecs to control multiple HD-Series cameras and IR forwarding in modulated and non-modulated formats for extending the reach of the IR remotes included with today's most popular videoconferencing systems.

Design for use with the HD-Series cameras
The Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI and the HD-18/19/20/22/30/20SE use high speed differential signaling (HSDS) for transmission of high definition video (up to 1080p/60) and IR signals over Category 5 cabling. Video, Power and Control is conveyed using only two Category 5 cables.
Simultaneous Analog and Digital Outputs
The Quick-Connect DVI is equipped with both Analog (YPbPr) and Digital video outputs (DVI-D or HDMI with an optional DVI-D to HDMI adapter cable) to allow the flexibility in system design demanded by today's best integrators.
Daisy Chain Control Emulation - DCCE
The Quick-Connect DVI/HDMI provides for daisy chain type control wiring, where all the wiring is done at the interface, which is perfect for use with single control port video systems.
IR Forwarding Feature
The IR Forwarding feature allows IR signals from Polycom and TANDBERG remotes to be sent through the HD-18 to the codec's IR interface or IR window allowing for camera placement and system design freedom.
