Vaio is still the best!
My second Vaio laptop.
I can't believe how light this laptop is.
It is really quite as well.
Everything is perfect but if you have sweaty hands, don't buy the black ones. The fingerprints on the keyboard are real. ??
And because is Vaio US, there are less options than Vaio Japan. And no you can't get a Japanese keyboard.

SX14 All Black
Pros: Super fast. Lightweight. Beautiful finish. Very nice to type on.
Cons: Speakers are horrible (get an external DAC or go bluetooth and this is irrelevant.) The all black smudges super easy.
After 9 years of Mac use I got tired of Apple's crap & went back to Windows this spring. I wanted another Vaio (my first computer was a Vaio tower back in 04) but ended up getting a surface book I found on sale at Best Buy for 800 off. After a few months I'm now sick of windows crap & who would've guessed that a windows device didn't like Linux lol. Vaio had a sale and I'm back where I belong. As good as Windows runs on this device, its even faster with Ubuntu.
Really the only thing I have an issue with - something I didn't see anywhere in reviews - is how easily it gets finger print smudges on it. I'm cleaning it constantly. That isn't enough to drop the rating. Just be prepared to polish it regularly :)

Fully Satisfied With My New Vaio - Again
My newest Vaio, the third I have owned, promises to be even better than my last two Vaios. I love the size of the SSD (1TB), he core i7 chip, and the weight (or lack of it) in such a powerful and portable machine. My last Vaio finally died after it has been on an airplane in excess of 1,000,000 miles and in many countries as well as all over the U.S. I expect this Vaio to last and perform like it two. My only compliant is that Vaio does not offer a dedicated docking station like I had for the last two Vaios. And now that we are all working from home more, that would be very handy.

Great Latpop !
Very underrated laptop, full of professional-grade features for the power user.
An impressive processor and memory set
Incredible fit and finish
Only laptop that meets my needs in my professional studio work environment.
Simply the best laptop money can buy
Unusually light laptop considering all of the features that are packed into it
Can't think of any other laptop that compares, to be honest.
Keyframe editing is a breeze on this thing when working on video.

My Fav Laptop of all time
for the very first time, I purchased a laptop that was a Sony (2009 Vaio) and till now im still looking to buy a new vaio laptop that's why im still looking for this one again for the 3rd time. I can say, sony laptop is a very good choice in comes of durability as long as well maintain and also it depends on the spec and how will you use it. 5-star for me.

VAIO is back
I've used Sony VAIO Duo 11 for 5 years.
and I looking for new note PC that less than 1.3kg, same or smaller size than older one, more than 8GB RAM, and more than 3 USB Type-A port with Full-size SD card slot. and that's the VAIO SX14.
overall, it may looks like older VAIO. it has older VAIO's many of Pros, such as various I/O port, special keyboard coat, and luminas coated VAIO logo, light weight. and more.
but new VAIO is even progressed. It has slimmer bezel that can load bigger display, nice fingerprint sensor, USB type-C port, VAIO TruePerformance, and louder speaker. If you looking for new note PC that keeps VAIO's heritage with latest spec, or stunning and light business notebook, this is for you.
but there is some Cons that not so big. such as little small touchpad, and no LED indicator outside of notebook. I hope?that the next model can improve.

I purchased a vaio over 6 years ago and it is still working. I purchased another one and absolutely love it. I will never buy another brand but vaio. Because it is very reliable.

Better & Better
I have to admit, I am a 13-year Vaio bigot: V505, TX650, SZ430, CX115, SVD11215. Now an SX14. Bought a Surface (refurb) for a comparison, hardly ever turn it on. The SX14 has credible I7 power and an amazing screen. Excellent as a desktop with all of the ports and a 43" 4K monitor. Can't say that for the 2-port Surface. Could have a bit more battery for portable use as I am hooked on performance mode but the light weight is super for a frequent flyer. Easy to buy - easy to use. Love it!

Miss my old Vaio
Was a satisfied user for 11 years. Just bought a new one. Unfortunately it is slower and does not have a docking station. How can it be a business laptop when you need to unplug/plug all the interface every day? Design is as slick as previous one, solid construction. Considering returning.

I bought the first Vaio 13 "Z11VRN in 2009 and it still works. The magnificent screen is 1600 * 900 with 4 GB memory, I just changed the disk to SSD, and it works for 4 hours with my own battery. It's unbelievable. For two years now I want to I bought a new laptop but I liked the old one, if it weren’t for a mechanical breakdown. When I saw that my vaio started to do it again, I was very happy, and now I got my new computer out of the box and I'm happy

Fantastic laptop for business consultants!
Love the red edition, but would hope in the near future kashi - iro or indigo blue color is introduced in the Sx14 line. I'm not sure why a touch screen is necessary. Get yourself a tablet if you really need to poke at the screen and mess it up! I think it is perfect the way it is. Well done vioa!

Nearly Perfect But...
My 4th VAIO to date. Ultra build quality and performance. In fact, probably the best.
It's missing (all models) a TOUCHSCREEN. So essential when editing photos and video.
Still, overall, a excellent choice.
Worth noting, review the return/restocking policy before purchasing.

Amazing Aesthetics and Function
