This works great with Caffenol!

I use Adorama brand paper to develop photos in my caffenol mix and it works great. The paper produces a light sepia tone/brown tone that isn't to overpowering.

Fantastic product for the price

I had paid so much more for paper locally that I was not expecting much when I saw the price on this paper (besides, 5 x 7 is not often stocked locally anyway). I am so glad I ordered two packs. 50 sheets for ten bucks or so is awesome and my prints look as good as they ever did on much more expensive paper.

It's better than you might think

Printed on this paper for various exhibitions and galleries. Pros can't tell the difference between this paper and Brand Name papers. Grew up in Ca. and went to college there. Knew several Famous Art Photograperd. They would be pleased with the image quality

Another great Adorama paper

Under its own name Adorama sells high quality paper for printing from negative film for a fraction of the price of other brands. The paper -- both FB and RC multigrade -- is a bargain. Great tonal range. Why spend more when you get the same quality for less? The only difference is the logo on the box.

Almost as good as Ilford

I bought this to keep down my costs of printing; I'm very happy with the paper - but I needed to adjust the developing time. It's a little thinner than the paper I previously used and I don't know yet how it will take to toning. But so far, so good - good enough that I also bought a package of 8" by 10" and 11" by 14" paper. Thanks, Adorama.

Almost as good as Ilford and much less!

I bought this because Ilford paper has gotten very expensive and a friend recommended it. I had to make some adjustment in development time (25% shorter) but I'm very pleased with the paper. I just ordered a box of 8" by 10" and one of 11" by 14".

Adorama VGFB Gloss is a high speed variable contrast black and white enlarging paper with a double weight fiber base. The use of color filters permits selection of required contrast from a range of grades similar to that of graded papers, with the advantage to the user of reduced paper stock. A neutral image tone and a clean white base combine to give a high quality paper equally suitable for dish processing. The paper gives a consistent image tone across the grades and exhibits good sharpness.

This paper is designed for use with tungsten or tungsten halogen light sources. Other light sources may give different contrast values. Exposure of the paper is straight forward, depending on which filter system is in use. For Ilford Multigrade filters, grades 00 to 3 have the same speed (ISO P 250) and grades 4 and 5 require approximately twice the exposure. For the filter settings, grades 0 to 4 have the same speed (ISO P 320). Grades 00 and 5 require more exposure (ISO P 250). When no filter is used, the paper has a contrast of approximately grade 2 and a speed of ISO P 640.

Open only in a darkroom illuminated by safelights Ilford 904 or Kodak OC containing 15W bulbs or equivalent; red safelights may also be used. The safelights should be at least one metre from the paper at all times and good working practice of keeping exposure to safelight at a minimum should be adopted. Unused paper should be returned to its original packaging for storage.
