Adorama Universal Cold Shoe Adapter for Sony Type AIS (Active Interface Shoe) Hot Shoe

This adapter allows the use of as many as five universal shoe compatible devices on a Sony camcorder that has the Active Interface Shoe (AIS). This adapter does not provide electrical or audio connections to the camcorder though the AIS socket.

The shoe mount is powdercoated black. The part weighs appx 3oz or 80g. Some Compatible Products: Sony HDR series -HC1, HC3, HC5, HC7, SR1, Ux1. (Not recommended for HVR-A1, as it requires the removal of the XLR block.)
