I bought this battery with high hopes, but sadly I think it's going to turn into another paperweight. My camera's lens started to stick halfway through a shoot this morning. Suspecting the new battery, I popped in the old Canon battery, and everything is fine. I am weary of putting in another aftermarket battery in there since this experience. Even though Canon batteries cost an arm and a leg, I would still recommend them since they won't force issues like this. The smallest amount of innacurate voltage can cause quite a few problems.

What a great battery at an unbeatable price. They are lasting days shoting HDR formated pic's. And to boot they are extreamly lighter then the Canon brand.

I purchased four of these batteries to use in my Canon 50D. I have used them for weddings, portraits, sporting events, etc. I took over 1,500 pictures in an 8 hour wedding job with two of these in my camera and did not have to change them out. Infact, I still had power left. I can't tell a difference in battery life between these and the canon brand except the price which is $30 dollars cheaper for this one. Take this challenge, buy one, you will not be disappointed.

I have used the Adorama battery interchangeably with the far more expensive OEM battery for more than 3 months. While not having made any tests, I have not noticed any difference in performance.

This adorama battery are as good as original Canon battery.I use it on my recent trip at Arizona, with the heat above 100 F.This battery last the all day assignment.I purchase this product because, I get two of this, with the same quality as original.Hope Adorama will bring more good stuff in the future.

I bought 2 of these as backups for my Canon BP-511 batteries, as I had a wedding to shoot. Charged these for a day, just to be safe, then charged the Canon batteries. Dropped these into the grip as the Canon's were charging and fired off a few shots to make sure they worked. Shot 6 hours of the wedding day, 450+ shots. Then took a hike the next day and shot 50+ shots over 3 hours. Still not a drop in charge! Maybe the Canon batteries will be my backups! Hopefully they keep up like this after a few months, but for now I am completely satisfied! Great price [...] Adorama will keep getting my business!

These batteries have been good enough - I haven't had to change them within one outing yet. I'd love to buy another but they're working well enough that I don't have to!
