Thomasa L : Before I purchase this battery I would like to know if I am looking at the right battery for my camcorder is DCR-DVD650? If possible we need to purchase two.DANIEL M : I have by now several diferent batterys for diferent cameras. Over the years i have learned (hard way) that if you intend to use camera extensively or seldomly one still need TWO batterys for each camera. One that comes with the camera and one more purchased separatly. One battery is in the camera ans other is on a charger that is permanently pluged in the recepticle. This way you will not end up with thw dead battery when you intend to use camera. Good luck.RONALD P : If it states that it is compatible, then it will work great, I have one for my sony camcorder and it works without problem.ERIC B : I bought this for the HDR-SR7, they hold a charge nearly as long as the stock battery. This replacement battery dose not snap into place as smoothly as the Sony battery, however for the money its a good back up.PHUC D : It was ok. I just used it on my camcorder for some times as backup.
