Pretty Good Camera for the Money

I've worked in the photo industry all my life and been involved in the design and evaluation of many cameras. While this is hardly a professional unit, it provides remarkably good quality for the price. I liked it enough that I have ordered a second unit. It slips in your pocket and allows you to capture over an hour of VGA video on a 2GB SD memory card and runs on AA penlite cells.

Highly functional - pleasant surprise

I use it for video only although the still camera function is reasonably good. Video capabilities are very good. The included software does not need to be installed, and I didn't install it. I simply connected the USB cable and my Windows 7 PC recognized the camera as an external storage device, allowing me to copy the video files directly to my harddrive. Not sure why another reviewer complained about the audio. The audio works well. Overall, this is nearly as good as a VGA FLIP camera, for far less money.

The GFM DV-150 Digital Camera with VGA advanced sensor can take DVD-Quality MPEG-4 movies. By way of using MPEG-4 technology, more videos can be taken within certain amount of memory. Your camera features outstanding video quality, especially in low light condition. With a color LCD monitor, users can compose images and examine them easily.

Exposure and color balance can either be adjusted automatically or allowed to be changed manually. An 2x digital zoom increases user control over the movies and pictures you take.
