Kramer Electronics FC-321 2x1 3G/HD-SDI to HDMI Format Converter

The Kramer Electronics FC-321 2x1 3G/HD-SDI to HDMI Format Converter is a high-performance device that converts one of two SDI inputs to an HDMI output signal with the same resolution and frame rate. Part of Kramer Electronics' DigiTOOLS line, the compact FC-321 fits into a third of a single rack unit on a standard 19" rack, which means that three similar-sized devices can be installed side-by-side using the optional RK-3T adapter (not included).

The maximum data rate of the FC-321 is 3 Gb/s, which means it can perform single-cable 3G-SDI (SMPTE 424M) input on both BNC connectors. The device can also handle SDI (SMPTE 259M) and HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M) on both inputs. The HD-SDI input and HDMI output make the FC-321 converter compatible with NTSC, PAL and high-definition video formats such as 720p, 1080i and 1080p/60.

(The FC-321 does not perform frame rate or resolution conversion.) Connect any two video sources with SDI output (switcher, digital video player, camera, etc.) to the BNCs on the FC-321 converter and output one HDMI video signal to any compatible display.
