Great for video editing
Fast, sturdy and dependable. I use these drives everyday and travel with them as well. I have four of these. I’d like to try the 8tb version in the future. The thunderbolt connection is super secure too. I know with some other drives it feels not as snug, but these lacie connections are perfect. Used for video editing.

Great working drive

Fast for sure
I'm a freelance photographer and mainly shoot high school sports for the local paper. I go through a lot of external hard drives. I need one to be fast in transferring pictures because of the deadlines that I have to deal with and this hard drive fits the bill without paying big bucks for a solid state drive.

Sculptor needs video...
Bought the LaCie Raid to handle all the memory needed to process video on building a wave of 60 canoes- working great so far!

LaCie 4TB Rigged Raider as portable
While the LaCie 4TB is built rigged for me it is heavier than I want to travel with. I really do not need 4TB traveling, my error. Smaller solid state hard drives even 450 GB help when weight is a factor as some small plane expeditions usually are.

Great purchase! Videos were not showing smoothly on older external hard drives but with the LaCie they play flawlessly!!

Dependable, durable, portable
I have two of these for my photos in conjunction with Lightroom, one for backup to keep in second location. I love it's durability and portabilty.

Good drive for travel
I have this drive and a 2T drive and both are great! The 2 T is lighter for travel but both are strong and hearty. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Does the job consistently
We have a customer who passes this thing around their office more than a peace pipe. Lasted years, no complaints. Just bought a 2nd one, will buy more.

Great product
Fast, love the durability of it. I work on videos and it keeps up with my 4k footage just fine.
